Birding Weekend at Kwandaba Game Lodge, Rust de Winter 19 – 21 July

Great birding weekend with BIRDWATCHER.CO.ZA in JULY at Kwandaba Game Lodge.

We are planning  a guided birding camp at Kwandaba Game Lodge (www.kwandaba.co.za), Rust de Winter from 19-21 July 2013.

Rihann Geyser, an avifaunal specialist with more than 30 years experience in birding will be the guide and Canon SA will be there with their top of the range lenses and camera bodies that will be available for birding photographers to test and use at no extra cost. Canon will also have representatives to assist you, should you have any questions.

Birding will mainly be done on foot and we have also arranged (with a third party) to have a boat available at an additional R100 for birding on the dam to view birds that are difficult to see from the shore.

You can choose to attend the Camp from Friday 19 July (arrival 16:00 – 17:00) and go birding with Rihann the next day (20 July) and depart at 15:00 or from Saturday (arrival 16:00 – 17:00) and go birding with Rihann the next day (21 July) and depart at 15:00 or you can choose to attend the entire weekend.

The cost will be R650,00 per person per day, sharing, (R750.00 Single) and it includes breakfast and dinner. The boat trip costs R100,00 additional per person (limited space).

Due to limited space on the boat, separate bookings for the boat trips are essential. We plan to have 3 guided boat trips per day (11:00 to 13:00, 13:00 to 15:00 and 15:00 to 17:00)

Please bring warm clothes and  comfortable walking shoes for the bird walk.
