Birdhiking at Kwandaba April 2014

Birding trip (birdhiking) at KwaNdaba on the Rust De Winter Dam, 19 & 20 April 2014. More than 70 species were counted on the Saturday afternoon and early Sunday morning. Highlights included Black Cuckooshrike female and a colony of African Rail. Birdwatchers can view www.kwandaba.co.za . This is an excellent base for a birding weekend in this area with more than 400 species counted.
