Saturday morning (20 February 2016) at Mkhombo delivered unexpected specials like: the Southern Carmine Bee-eater that was only recorded 3 times before in this pentad as incidentals since the existence of SABAB 1 & 2, Village Indigobird also only recorded 3 times before and the Great Spotted Cuckoo only recorded twice – one incidental and one full protocol, with the last recording in 2008.
