Mkhombo – February 2016

Our trip sterted Saturday morning (20 February 2016) at Mkhombo, where nature delivered some amazing and unexpected specials like: the Southern Carmine Bee-eater that was only recorded 3 times ever before in this spesific pentad as incidentals since the very existence of SABAB 1 & 2, the Village Indigobird also only ever recorded 3 times before and the Great Spotted Cuckoo only recorded twice before – featuring one incidental and one full protocol, with the last recording done in 2008.
